Aristocats.
Released by Walt Disney productions in 1970 animated feature film 'The Aristocats' was the 20th in Walt Disney's Classics series. This was the first film to be produced without Walt Disney's supervision and failed commercially. It was released to cinemas in December 1970. In December 2005 a sequel was planned by Disney, The Aristocats II, for anticipated release in 2007 but this was cancelled in early 2006.
The story by Tom McGowan and Tom Rowe is built around an alley cat acquaintance of a family of aristocats helping them overcome the kidnapping of the family's butler who is held at ransom in an attempt to gain the family fortune which belonged to Madame Bonfamille. It involves a mother cat named Duchess and her three kittens Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse who live in a mansion in Paris, France belonging to a retired opera singer Madame Adelaide Bonfamille who has an English butler called Edgar.

Lyrics for the song.
Ev'rybody Wants to be a Cat.
Everybody wants to be a cat,
because a cat's the only cat
who knows where it's at.
Everybody's pickin' up on that feline beat,
'cause everything else is obsolete.
Now a square with a horn,
can make you wish you weren't born,
ever'time he plays;
and with a square in the act,
he can set music back
to the caveman days.
I've heard some corny birds who tried to sing,
but a cat's the only cat
who knows how to swing.
Who wants to dig
a long-haired gig
or stuff like that?
When everybody wants to be a cat.
A square with that horn,
makes you wish you weren't born,
ever'time he plays;
and with a square in the act,
he's gonna set this music back
to the Stone Age days.
Everybody wants to be a cat,
because a cat's the only cat
who knows where it's at;
while playin' jazz you always has a Welcome mat,
'cause everybody digs a swingin' cat.
Everybody digs a swingin' cat.
