Florida Beaches.

Mile after mile of white-sandy East Coast beaches are easily reached but over the weekends they usually get very busy early each day as local residents take advantage of the beautiful coastline which is popular with those who like to snorkel. Fort Lauderdale and Miami beaches are in the South-East where you will see the homes of the rich and famous. Along the West Coast are the calmer waters accompanied by the generally slower pace of life. But if it's the East Coast you want, where Melbourne beach is readily accessible from the Kissimmee region, then its surfing for you alongside thousands of holiday making students.

In the Florida Panhandle which is located a little further north from the West Coast more natural beaches can be found. The outdoor life recreational focus tends towards camping or fishing where the deep-sea fishing charter boats can be hired for full or half-day charters. Panama City, also known as 'The Spring Break Capital of the World', has 27 miles of white sandy beaches which are extremely popular destinations for spring holidays because of the influx of ten of thousands of college and high school students during March and April each year.

Water skiing.

Florida is home to some of the best water-skiing in the world which is enjoyed on its freshwater lakes and inland waterways including the Intracoastal Waterway. The activity is fun, challenging and one of the most popular sports in Florida. Central Florida is a popular water skiing destination and well worth the visit.

Wherever you go the weather should be good, the beaches very pleasant and all that remains is a little concentration on the art of relaxing and enjoying yourself!
