China has just accepted new Disney proposals to open up a brand new theme park in Shanghai China for the first time ever. Building up the recent success seem in its Hong Kong Disney theme park and Tokyo Disney in Japan. This should be one of the biggest ever attractions to be built in Shanghai and we're all looking forward to visiting it once its open!
Negotiations have been going on for over a decade but finally the all clear has been given which is great news!
Disney CEO Robert A. Iger said: ""China is one of the most dynamic, exciting and important countries in the world, and this approval marks a very significant milestone for The Walt Disney Company in mainland China."
At a cost of £3billion to build, Disney anticipate the park openning in 2014. It will be a boost to the local economy and help all the Chinese people visit first hand the fun and great amusement rides Disney has to offer!
