Get yourself ready for that time of year again! The Christmas decorations will have been put away and the shop shelves will be candy coloured and heart shaped, Valentines Day will be only a few weeks away!! Therefore, the writers at Unofficial Florida Disney thought we should highlight a few ideas about where and what you can do to entertain your sweetheart ....
Disneyworld, Disneyland and Disney themed gifts can be romantic at any time of year, however, have you ever thought of taking the one you love out for a day trip followed by a really special lunch or extremely romantic dinner, with a fairytale backdrop and a setting of red roses???
Depending on just how romantic you want to be, the guys at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando Florida and Disneyland Paris (for UK residents looking for a cosy weekend in Paris) can organise just about anything to make your evening truly memorable; from flowers, organised by the Walt Disney Florist all the way to popping the big question with the help of Disney's Magical Proposal Packages at Cinderella's Royal Table.

1. An extremely super romantic proposal: Disney's Magical Proposal Packages at Cinderella's Royal Table
Go all the way and make this night a night you'll talk about for years to come and book a table at Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom, reputed to be Disney World's finest restaurant (only the best will do!). Here you can enjoy an all inclusive set dinner in the splendour of a fantasy castle, what's more there are always photographers close by that can capture the celebration.
The organisation is impeccable and can be arranged to finest detail: notable features include a specially crafted Chocolate Slipper Dessert, which is a Glass Slipper that has been beautifully engraved in which the ring is presented. There are, of course, elegant flutes of champagne and you can tailor your evening as you like it - hiring singers, flowers (see the Florist, below) and watching the fireworks. You should take a look at the list below and may want to incorporate these other ideas too!!

2. Other Dining ideas There are plenty of other great restaurants within the Disney World complex for those who want a romantic dinner date and a great atmosphere in Downtown Disney, Orlando. We have put together three exciting dining options and highlighted two February Tables in Wonderland Events that were formulated by Disney for 2010.
Fulton's Crab House - 1670 Buena Vista Drive Lake, Downtown Disney
Fulton's offered the following set menu for two people at $79.95 (excluding tax and tip):
Starter - a choice of either (1) full pound of herb butter sautéed snow crab claws, served with crisp flatbread and grilled lemons or, (2) braised beef short ribs
Main - Blue crab and chive Yukon, gold whipped potatoes with roasted spaghetti squash and fresh spinach, with Burgundy jus.
Dessert - Flourless chocolate cake with Chambord sauce.
From the 1st to 14th February 2010, diner's at Fulton's had a chance to win a beautiful pearl necklace or a stunning single pearl.
Each day the table that received bill number 214 received a complimentary voucher to the Pearl Factory in Downtown Disney - guests at the Pearl Factory were able to select their very own oyster and keep the pearl which is removed from inside. In addition, diners ordering six or more oysters were placed in a prize draw for the pearl necklace. The winner was notified on 15 February!

Wolfgang Puck Cafe - 1482 East Buena Vista Drive, Downtown Disney
(Seafood) lovers were given their fill with the special Valentine's "Seafood Lover's Prix Fixe" four course menu for $70.00 per couple (excluding tax and tip).
The menu was prepared by Wolfgang Puck head chef, Sinclair Thorne, and included, a crab cake salad, steamed mussels & clams, char-broiled petit filet on wilted arugula, Barramundi, Orzo lobster and champagne foam...(washed down with a glass of bubbly too?!). The dessert on the night was the 'secret lovers chocolate delight', Kir Royal and Chocolate covered strawberries. Delicious!

Portobello Restaurant - 1670 Lake Buena Vista, Downtown Disney
In addition to its signature Italian cuisine, the Portobello Restaurant offered the following Valentine's Day menu for two for $59.95 (excluding tax and tip):
Starter - Antipasti platter with crostini, fromaggi and salami
Main - a choice of (1) Bucatini al Amatriciana (2) Spaghetti and Meatballs or (3) Farfalle with chicken
Dessert - Chocolate Fantasy panna cotta (2) chocolate ravioli (3) chocolate covered strawberries or (4) biscotti
Valentine's diners at Portobello who ordered chocolate ravioli received a chance to win ravioli for a full year! All ladies also received complimentary flower on the evening.
