Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort Florida should be the trip of a lifetime for you and your children so be prepared and have your plans at the ready. But where do you start to gather all of that Disney information? Some straight forward items can commence immediately: -

What better way to get your children involved at an early stage than by giving them Disney dollars for their birthday, at Christmas or for that extra bit of work done. They can then save for their holidays and see the funds increase while not being able to spend it until they reach Disney!
Disney dollars are a form of tokens sold by Walt Disney which have a one for one value with the US dollar and have a similar shape, size and design. The dollars bear the image of Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto and Goofy or one of the Disney landmarks. You can purchase Disney dollars using credit and debit cards or cash.
Planned Programme:
To get the most from your visit it is highly recommended that you prepare a tour planner. Many of the attractions can have considerable waiting times and so you will need to do your homework. Using the Fastpass system appears to be more likely to save you time, see FAQ's. Also be sure you research the attractions to be aware of the operating hours and suitability for different age groups. Take into account the time taken to travel back and forth to your resort and the relative distances between the attractions and Theme Parks. Bear in mind that when you first arrive one or more of your party may still be suffering from jet-lag.
Research:
Your travel agent I am sure will provide you with Walt Disney World Florida related material. However, buy maps, books and reference material at an early stage for once you begin your research you will find there is so much to do both inside and outside Disney.
It is a holiday after all and holidays are to be enjoyed so leave some time to sit, relax and reflect while the world rushes by!
