Busch Gardens - Tampa

Busch Gardens – owned like SeaWorld by the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company - is spread over 335 acres of land located to the northeast of Tampa, roughly a 90 minute drive from Orlando, which forms a vast zoo and theme park. The overall theme clearly identified by the names used for the attractions is the African continent.

Before going to the Gardens take some time to prepare for your visit. It is quite simply an enormous area with so much to do and see that you could easily waste your day queuing for some relatively short-lived or minor attraction while missing much more. There will be a great deal of walking involved in your visit so once again be prepared so that you can maximise your day!

Most of the rides are indoors and therefore unaffected by changes in the weather while however, the park has several ‘Super’ roller-coater rides for the thrill seeker! Height restrictions apply on a number of the attractions.

Check out the 'Busch Garden Fun Card' which allows you return visits to the park during that calendar year for a small additional charge. There are also 'Flex Tickets' which combine visits to SeaWorld, Wet ‘n Wild and Universal’s attractions etc. Check with your Discount Ticket Agent for the best deals!

The park is accessed from both the I-75 and I-275 via their respective Busch Blvd exit.
Busch Gardens, 3000 East Busch Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33612.
There is a Visitor Information Centre at 3601 Busch Blvd.
