Disney Wonder
Disney Wonder
offers cruises that are either three or four days long to Nassau and
to Disney's own private island, Castaway Cay. Nassau offers typical
resort activities such as shopping and slot machines.
Castaway Cay offers snorkelling, hiking, bike riding,
volleyball, a banana boar ride, sailboat & sea kayak rentals and
organized activities. Excursions for families include a Kayak Nature
Adventure for people ages 10 and older and a Personal Watercraft Eco
Tour for people ages 8 and up. Supervised kids activities include
scavenger hunts, sand castle building contests, boat races and bike
rides. Teens have their own area of the beach with snorkelling,
kayaking, tetherball, volleyball and soccer, basketball, ping pong,
pool, foosball, and more.
Disney Magic
Disney Magic
offers all the fun of the Disney
Wonder plus additional ports of call. The Western Caribbean
Cruise offers ports of call at Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel as
well as Castaway Cay, while the the Eastern Caribbean Cruise offers
ports of call at St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and St. John.
Tip: Both cruises ships offer excursions for an extra charge. Some
charges are quite reasonable, such as $25 for an adult snorkelling
excursion on Castaway Cay, while some are more expensive such as
parasailing at $75 for 45 minutes.
