Magic Kingdom Disney World

The Kingdom: What to expect & what to see…

Disney’s Magic Kingdom is close to the south of Orlando (FL) being only half an hour away. (see driving directions).

The Kingdom’s most magical and popular destinations with teens and tweens are the well known Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, though Jack Sparrow has Pirates of the Caribbean on the top of many youngsters’ lists.

When you arrive at the Magic Kingdom you begin the magic journey through “Main Street USA”. What you’ll have to do is walk into the Town Square to the top and right before your eyes there’ll be a fantastic view of Cinderella Castle.

When you go to the Disneyworld’s Magic Kingdom, go early (as soon as the gates open if not before to avoid queues!), and go with a plan, the place is HUGE! Discuss together everyone’s expectations and priorities and work out what attractions are must dos and which ones are would like to dos and which ones are if there is time left over. Doing this, and negotiating ahead of time, will solve a lot of hurt feelings and make for a magical experience.
