History of Walt Disney World
No
trip to Walt Disney World is complete without visiting the Magic
Kingdom, the epitome of happiness and family fun. The Magic Kingdom
is at the heart of Walt Disney World in Florida. Built on 1st
October 1971 it was the second of the Disney theme parks to be built
in Florida. It was considered the only noteworthy Disney location for
a long time and as such by itself was thought of as “Disney World”.
Later parks were built from the 1980’s, such as EPCOT in 1989, the
Disney-MGM studios in 1989 and finally Disney’s Animal Kingdom in
1998. Notwithstanding later editions to the Walt Disney World Empire,
Magic Kingdom is viewed as a bastion of all that is Magical about
Walt Disney World, drawing the most crowds than any of the other
Disney Theme parks year on year!
