Mickey’s
Toontown Fair
Re-jigged
in 1996, this is the teeniest of the Magic Kingdom Island and offers
a great many feats for kids of all ages. In its simplest description,
it is a character greeting place so make sure you get to the Hall of
Fame and the Judge’s Tent to meet the world’s favorite mouse!
Camera at the ready!! Walking through Toontown is like walking
through Mickey and Minnie’s back yard and meeting all their friends
at home. This is a really great place to visit and has a behind the
scenes feel to the place.
This
is the only ride in Toontown and is a fun and quite innocent
rollercoaster ride around Goofy’s farm ‘Wildacre’. The ride
lasts a mere minute and is suitable for small kids given its tame
nature. Those with particularly long legs might find the carts
uncomfortable however, as they are really designed with little people
in mind!
This
is a play area for children. Kids get to play around in Donald’s
much beloved boat “Miss Daisy”. Water shoots and spurts through
the deck floors randomly and is great fun for the kids! This boat has
some interactive elements incorporated into it, such as a steering
wheel and a boat bell to ring-a-ding-ding!
A
wonderful walk through attraction to visit where the great Mouse
lives. Go out to the back garden and you’ll find Pluto’s
doghouse. There’s a lot to see at Mickey’s House and it is
definitely worth a visit. Make your way through the tent and low and
behold you will be able to meet the famous mouse yourself! You lucky
thing!
Minnie’s
house is a girl’s dream house with its pink and lavender décor!
The attention to detail is great and there are some interactive
elements as well such as an answering machine with messages waiting
from some of her best friends.
Visit
Mickey’s local market for fresh fruit and vegetable refreshment!
